• 100% certain ID or don’t eat
• Common species only (avoid rare plants)
• Personal use quantities (not commercial)

Tools:

• Pack knives when not in use
• Explain honestly if questioned by police
• Carry to/from activity only

Fire:

• Permission essential
• Consider fire risk (drought = no fire)
• Full extinguishment non-negotiable

Wildlife:

• Observe, don’t disturb
• Protected species = hands off

No hunting/trapping (UK not survival environment)
