Multi-Scale Rulers Navigation requires accurate distance estimation. This baseplate is printed with three distinct Romer scales: 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and 1:63,360. This allows for rapid grid reference plotting on the most common military and civilian topographical maps without mental arithmetic.
Precision Features The liquid-filled capsule dampens the needle for a stable reading. The baseplate features a built-in magnifying lens, essential for identifying small symbols or contour lines on a map in low light. The rotating bezel is marked in degrees for taking precise bearings in the field.
Field Ready Includes a directional travel arrow for following bearings and an attached olive green nylon lanyard to secure the compass around your neck or to your kit.
