AGE RESTRICTED PRODUCTS (Offensive Weapons Act 2019)
1. Age Requirement By placing an order for any bladed article (knives, axes, saws) or restricted chemical substances (fuels, pastes) on FireOfRoots.co.uk, you unequivocally declare that you are 18 years of age or older. It is a criminal offence in the UK to purchase these items if you are under the age of 18, and it is an offence for us to sell them to you.
2. Age Verification on Delivery (AVD) We operate a strict “Challenge 25” policy. All orders containing age-restricted items will be shipped via Mandatory Age Verified Delivery (e.g., Royal Mail Tracked 48 Age Verification).
The package cannot be left in a safe place, purely posted through a letterbox, or left with a neighbor who is not 18+.
The recipient must present valid government-issued photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) to the courier upon delivery.
3. Failed Delivery & Returns If the courier cannot verify that the recipient is 18 years of age:
The package will be refused and returned to FireOfRoots.
We will refund the cost of the item(s).
We will NOT refund the shipping cost.

We reserve the right to deduct a £5.00 administration fee for the failed delivery and return processing.
4. Data Checks FireOfRoots reserves the right to conduct background checks using public electoral roll data to verify the age of the purchaser before dispatch. If we cannot verify your age, we may contact you requesting proof of ID before shipping your order.
Allergies and Reactions: Even edible plants can cause allergic reactions or interact with medications in some individuals.
Consult a Professional: Always consult with a qualified health provider or a professional forager before using any wild plants for food or medicine. FireOfRoots assumes no liability for any adverse reactions or consequences resulting from the use of information on this site.

Bushcraft and Survival Activities Disclaimer
