The Weapon Funeral:

When a great warrior died:

  • Buried with weapons (serve in afterlife)
  • OR Broken ritually (weapon “dies” with master)
  • Prevents enemy from using it

The Practice:

  • Bend sword 90°
  • Break spearheads
  • Burn shield

The Cursed Weapon:

Weapon that killed its master (dropped, betrayed owner) = cursed:

  • Destroyed (smelted, buried in swamp)
  • Purified (reforged, blessed extensively)

The Belief: Weapon holds grudge against owner who failed it.

The Lucky Weapon:

Weapon that saved owner’s life (deflected killing blow) = blessed:

  • Named (if not already)
  • Honored (never sold/discarded)
  • Passed down (heirloom, carries luck)
